Durhamtown Plantation Labor Day Weekend 2010:
Had a great weekend at DP riding the new pro-track! Hands down its the best track there. It gets groomed and watered daily. I will be going back soon.

Thunder Valley MX 3/20/10:

We went to Thunder Valley for the first time and I gotta say I love the SX track. Thunder Valley has 3 tracks: An SX track, an MX track, and a pee wee track. Info for this facility can be found at: http://thundervalleymotox.com/site/

Durhamtown Plantation 3/13/10:

The later part of the week was a little soggy leading up to this weekend, but by mid-day Saturday, the tracks started to dry up a little and by Sunday they were perfect. I have been really working on learning to throw whips and Sara was there to capture some more amazing pics.

The number 101 Orkin Kawasaki you see in a few of the pics is pro sx lites rider Jesse Madden. I have never seen anyone ride Durhamtown’s track 1 as fast as he did. He would scrub just about everything to avoid over-jumping. I watched in awe for a while, then decided to try to hang with him. I managed to fight him off in the corners for the majority of a lap before I made a mistake and went down in the split section. It was all I could do to keep him behind me, but eventually it just wasn’t enough.

I also did a little goon riding. There is a pic in the following of me emulating the Trey Canard fender slap.

101 MX, Grey Court, SC 3/6/10:

The weekend weather was perfect and the track conditions were also at 101. John Motes and I went out on the track and Sara grabbed the camera. What she captured are her best pics yet! There are a lot of pics here, so be sure to click next to view each page.

Durhamtown 1/16/10:

Here is a video of me riding my CR 250 on Durhamtown MX track 1. I do 2 laps on my CR 250, then 2 on the 2006 YZ 250f I built. I love that 2-stroke sound!

And here is a helmet cam vid of the same track, but this time I was on the 2010 YZ 450f. That bike is insanely powerful and smooth!

Cathey’s Creek 1/3/10:

The winter this year has been un-seasonably cold and wet. I have not been able to ride in over a month due to snow, rain, frozen ground, etc. Well we finally got a break from the snow and rain last weekend and bundled up for a practice day at Cathey’s Creek. The high was below freezing, but we had to bear it and get out there and ride. Many thanks to my gf Sara for taking these pics.
